The problem
Reference knowledge online is either locked behind closed editorial walls or drowned in unverifiable noise. We set out to build a knowledge platform where trust is earned and legible: where every claim carries a chain of verification, contributors build real reputation, and readers can see how a fact came to be.
What we built
A full knowledge platform, not a prototype. Accounts and identity, a reputation system that weights contributions, end-to-end encryption (E2EE) for private material, encrypted in the browser so the content is unreadable to us, a learning system that adapts to the reader, a books system for long-form works, and a research API for programmatic access.
How it works
Verification is the spine of the product. Content moves through review and reputation rather than a single editorial gate, so quality scales with the community instead of a central desk. Encryption and access controls are built in at the data layer, and the research API exposes the corpus without compromising the trust model behind it.
Our own project
Capsule is not client work. It is our own project, created and run by us, now in open beta and live on the open web. It stands on its own, and it is proof of how we build: a real, provable platform carrying accounts, reputation, cryptography, a learning engine, and an API. It is the reference for everything else we make.
